L03: Media Components

This is a print master I made for the clothing brand 'Nostalgia' it is a poster to be put up round student areas, nightclubs etc, this poster shows the audience what the brand is about, what clothes they make, what clothes they sell and what they look like being worn, this will catch the views eye as most students like fairly priced well made clothes that are trendy, this is a great way to support this small independent company while also helping them get. bigger income and following

Here I have created a website to be accessed on a mobile device / tablets. I have made this website for my client 'Nostalgia' so that their items of clothing and products could be purchased by the audiences interested in their brand and clothing line. the website consists of sweaters, socks, hats, bags etc. These are all items that 'Nostalgia' have created for purchase and now on this website.

This suits the needs of the client as their target audience will be students / younger age groups from 15-25 that use these devices on a daily, this will help 'Nostalgia' sell their clothes as their target audience don't have to go out of their way to access this website to buy the products. The target audience will have this website right in their hands.

Codes and Conventions

I did not break the rules of regulatory bodies such as ASA & OFCOM as while I was creating the website and posters for my client I did not use any offensive content E.G:
- Racist images
- Nudity images
- Swearing
- Explicit language
- Violent acts
- Voilent gestures
These are all things designers have to take in white creating graphics/pieces for clients as they will fail to real any audience and it can also be taken to court, this will make both me and my client look very unprofessional and put them out of business if any weren't taken into account.Related image

This magazine is by a company under the name of ADER, and below is the poster I have created for my client, however, being very different to the ADER poster my magazine is still following the codes and conventions of a poster for a clothing brand, reasons being they both involve:
- A Model
- The Clothing
- The Brand
- The Clothes Being Worn & Shown
This means I am following the codes and conventions of a real magazine as I am still linking my work to these magazines through the content, layout and display of representing the company/brand of 'Nostalgia' to make the company stand out in the industry.

Evidence of editing

Here is proof of me editing the website for my client, I have used a free website called wix and also used a layout already made just with images of the brands clothes and accessories, I have used the Ariel Black font to create branding as this is the same font used by nostalgia throughout their clothes and social media pages

Target Audience

The target audience for my client are ages 15-27 as these are the age of young students that are a huge population of the audience of street wear, both genders male and female as they are basic sweaters/hoodies/coats etc and they are basic colours such as black and white. Another reason the target audience are young is because the two guys who created the brand Nostalgia are students in their early twenties looking for similar interest and age. Interests being parties, music, hanging round with friends etc, also being students at university and college like them.
